Why we exist

Agricultural recruitment rewards the consultant who has spent time on a working farm. Seasons matter. Tickets matter. The wrong herdsperson can cost a dairy a whole quarter. The wrong sprayer can cost an arable operation a crop.

Agristan Services was set up to fix that. We are a UK permanent agricultural recruitment partner with one belief at the centre of the desk: a placement only works if both sides feel cared for.

What we do, plainly

Permanent placements across UK farms, estates and rural businesses. Ten rural services, one consultant per client, end to end.

Who we work for

Family farms, large arable operations, dairy units, livestock farms, sporting estates and rural enterprises. Mostly small to mid-size, with managers who want a recruiter who understands the kit, the tickets and the seasons.

How we vet

  • Right-to-work and identity verification
  • Reference contact (current and previous farms / employers)
  • Machinery and chemical tickets verified (PA1, PA2, PA6, NPTC, BASIS, FACTS as relevant)
  • HGV and tractor / telehandler licences verified where required
  • Structured competency conversation about kit, livestock or crop experience

How we think about a placement

A successful placement is the moment six months later when the staff member is still in seat, still trusted with the kit and still happy.
